Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

MomentBoard is an independent, student-run project and has no official affiliation, sponsorship, or association with the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur or IITJ). By accessing or using MomentBoard (including the live display system and IITJ Digital Yearbook), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

  • MomentBoard Display: Open to all event attendees.
  • Digital Yearbook: Exclusively available to members of the IIT Jodhpur community with valid @iitj.ac.in email addresses. The 2026 yearbook is limited to the Class of 2026.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit content that is:

  • Offensive, vulgar, hateful, or discriminatory in any form.
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights of others.
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or impersonating another person.
  • Sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a university setting.
  • Spam, advertisements, or unrelated promotional material.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, text, quotes). By submitting content to MomentBoard, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content within the platform for its intended purpose (event display or yearbook publication).

5. Moderation

MomentBoard administrators reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any submitted content at their sole discretion. Profiles or submissions that violate the acceptable use policy will be taken down without prior notice.

6. Service Availability

MomentBoard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

MomentBoard and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This is a student-run project and has no official relation to, or backing from, the institute administration.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
